Hey guys, meet Iriste.  She is my Miqo’te Seeker of the Sun in FFXIV, server is Saronia.  She’s a gladiator and as such enjoys slicing things and shoving her shield in people’s faces really hard.  

I’m actually getting into FFXIV again.  They’ve made some very significant changes and the game is much better now.  Leveling is also nowhere near as much of a pain as it was in FFXI, and experience and gil comes by much quicker thanks to the guildleve system.  And of course, the entire game is eye candy.

If anyone ever finds themselves on FFXIV and on Saronia give me a shout!

I wonder if you are now on Sarganatas since Saronia xfered over to it.

I am really excited to be creating this post for the blog. Margaret Cho has been an idol of mine for a very long time. You can read a little about my love for her here. 

If you don’t know who Margaret Cho is, please visit her site! 

I would describe Margaret as a revolutionary, bold, passionate, loving human being. She is a comic, an actress, a musician, a writer, a blogger, an advocate, a fighter, a celebrity, an activist, and most importantly, a Feminist. (Oh and she’s Asian-American, too, which was always a huge deal to me, growing up because nobody on TV looked like me but her, KINDA)

Margaret is an inspiration to me and I know she’s an inspiration to many feminists out there. Check out a bit from her on Miss Representation here.
